Tribute to the PP

As i was watching tv one day, i saw the news where Dr Wee Kim Wee passed away. I vaguely remembered him as a president, therefore doesn't know much about him. The next few days in the newspaper, i read about his contribution to Singapore, his character and personality, a people's president.

Although i didn't know him, i could see what a gentleman he was, the ideal president for any country. Everyone seemed to be equal in his eyes, and sad to say, he's one of the few who has this mentality now. I was so tempted to go pay my respect to him yesterday, but nobody wanted to accompany me go. Haiz, nevertheless, he was a great president, it's just a pity i didn't know him in person, for i believe he would make an impact in my life.

Guessed we would never have another president like him, very unlikely. Nowadays minister are all damn fucking rich, they don't understand the poor, they don't know what its like to starve and have no money for education. Haiz anyway, hope Dr Wee enjoy his journey on his next phase of life. A man who deserved my utmost respect, rest in peace.

Return this man to Huma's breast
Beyond the wild, impartial skies;
Grant to him a warrior's rest
And set the last spark of his eyes
Free from the smothering clouds of wars
Upon the torches of the stars.
Let the last surge of his breath
Take refuge in the cradling air
Above the dreams of ravens, where
only the hawk remembers death.
Then let his shade to Huma rise,
Beyond the wild impartial skies.
