A sad sad day...

Today is a really sad day indeed, got the news that the animal lover and celebrity Steve Irwin passed away after being stung by a stingray, puncturing his heart.

This guy is a freaking amazing person, watching his documentaries in Animal Planet was really very interesting. Even though it was just filming through a camera, i could feel his enthusiasm and love for nature and animals. I guessed that was why i thought about being an environmentalist. A very passionate person in his job, and went all out to do what he believes in. My heart goes out to his wife and 2 little children, hope they get through this difficult period of time.

I can't believe some of the things people say about him, notably the time where he was being complained for putting his son to risk by carrying his son and feeding the crocodile at the same time. This guy have been dedicating his life to helping and understanding these creatures for practically his whole life, do you think he would do this if his son's life is at risk?

I'm still shock to be honest, and i can't imagine the days in future when i would switched to Animal Planet, and not see any new episodes of Steve battling the crocodiles or explaining the different species of animals to the viewers. Haiz, guess this reiterate that life is really short and unpredictable, as long as we do our best and give our all in what we believed in, there would be results. His courage and passon was really infectious, there was this episode when he was telling viewers how he wanted to improve his technique to better help the crocs. The day will not come, but i think his character and personality have inspired people all around the world.

Maybe, he may now be saying this to others "Look at this hole here mate(pointing to his heart), that beauuuuuuuuuuuuutiful creature stick its tail through." Top bloke, You'll Never Walk Alone steve, thanks for all the knowledge of animals.

I may not have the courage that you have, but i'll do my best...
